Bacolod, the gateway and capital of Negros Occidental, is the cleanest and the greenest highly urbanized city, most competitive & livable mid-sized city.

Outside Bacolod are astonishing natural sceneries like Mt. Kanlaon and Mt. Kanlaon National Park, Mambucal sulfur springs and waterfalls, Lakawon Islands, Inampulugan ancestral mansions, historical monuments and churches which are built during the Spanish era and sugar mills with rare steam locomotives.

Bacolod is known for the Masskara festival. It is celebrated every third weekend of October. Through the years, the Masskara Festival has become a major tourist attraction in Negros Occidental.

Bacolod City is located in the north-western part of the Province of Negros Occidental. Approximately 300 miles from Manila, Bacolod is a 55-minute travel by air, or 20-hour by sea.
